视觉编码（Visual Encoding）

There are two types of visual encoding variables: planar and retinal.

数据类型：

数量（quantitative)

Anything that has exact numbers.

For example, Effort in points: 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13.
Duration in days: 1, 4, 666

质量（Ordered / Qualitative）

Anything that can be compared and ordered.

User Story Priority: Must Have, Great, Good, Not Sure.
Bug Severity: Blocking, Average, Who Cares.

类型（Categorical）

Everything else.

Entity types: Bugs, Stories, Features, Test Cases.
Fruits: Apples, Oranges, Plums.

• 相关性
• 分类比较
• 时间序列
• 排序
• 分布
• 部分-总体关系
• Deviation

 常用图表

• Bar Plot
• Pie Plot
• Scatter Plot
• Buble Chart
• Heat map 热力图

一些建议

• 不要色差很大的颜色
• 不要画蛇添足
• <6种颜色
