I try now to start a post where all the FAQ/solution about KESSV2 and Ktag can be found the people ask again, and again.
Kess v2 vs Ktag
Ktag is able to work with Truck that Kess v2 can’t do.
Ktag read & write ECU via BDM, Kess v2 via OBD.
The newest ktag fw V6.070 is unlimited tokens and also newest KESS is.

Q: Where can I buy a good working clone from china?
A: This can‘t be answered. Tools from China quality is most times 50:50 (50% good, 50% crap)

A: No it is not possible. You only can reset the token counter!
Q: I have fw 3.099 is it possible to read out, reflash or to update the fw?
A: Yes all is possible.
Q: How many Tokens do i have while using FW 4.036?
A: Every fw with fw 4.036 has 30 token
Q: My kess run out of token, what can i do now? Have i to replace the nxp?
A: No there is no need to replace the nxp. There are 3 solutions now:
1: vendor does reset by Teamviewer, 2: Customer can reset via Software,
3: There are vendor which offer the tool with reset button
Q: Would you recommand to buy a EU Clone?
A: Depends on your budget. EU clones are more expansive, but they use HQ Parts and are more stable. So it is your choice!
Q: Which is the newest version for clones available at the moment?
A: Newest version for clones is fw. 4.036
Q: Which version of ksuite shall I use for my fw. 4.036 clone?
A: You should use ksuite v2.08
Q: Why i can‘t use newer Ksuite Version? Newer Version have newer cars!
A: There is no benefit to use higher version as v2.08. Fore sure newer
ksuite version will support more cars, but for this you need also new
fw!
Q: My tool is not working correct. Are there any information about which parts I have to change?
A: Please look at Kess v2 rework picture for reference.

A: there are many places. You can buy for example on tme.eu the order number is LPC2478FBD208
